# SetLocalPosition Set the position of this transform relative to the parent transform. ## Syntax ```cpp void SetLocalPosition(const Math::Vector3& position); ``` ## Parameters - `position` - The new local position as a `Math::Vector3`. ## Remarks Sets the local position of this transform. If this transform has no parent, local position is the same as world position. This marks the transform as dirty, requiring world transform recalculation. ## See Also - [GetLocalPosition](get-local-position) - [GetPosition](get-position) - [SetPosition](set-position) ## Examples ```cpp void Example(TransformComponent* transform) { transform->SetLocalPosition(Math::Vector3(10.0f, 0.0f, 5.0f)); } ```
